The story of Tom et Gaby

Tom, my boy—the son I had always imagined:

A traveler, fearless, kind, and a little wild.

 

Tom—a name I chose to be easy to pronounce in every language around the world.

 

Gabrielle—a name that is dear to me, also my middle name.

Highly sensitive, in love with life and travel,

Always ready to follow Tom on his adventures.

 

Tom’s dad left us in September 2023.

He was also passionate about life, travel, and had a touch of that wild spirit.

The Tom et Gaby project burst into our lives like magic

In the weeks that followed.

Tom et Gaby became my therapy.

 

Children who can identify, express, and regulate their emotions

Will grow into the resilient adults of tomorrow.

In a hyperconnected world that demands constant responsiveness,

A simple emotion patch can help a child communicate

And encourage an adult to listen.

Because to live is, above all, to feel…

Faustine, a wildly talented graphic designer. Contacted on a rainy Sunday in October 2023, she instantly fell in love with the project from the very start. Just two photos of Tom—and a whole lot of heart—were enough for her to bring Tom et Gaby to life.
